One panel, one look
As each job appears, one white panel lights up over your driver app, with a block for each filter, so you can decide at a glance.
How it works
1
An offer appears
In the driver app you already use, exactly as it does now.
2
FareTake reads it
The fare, distance and time already on your screen, through Android’s accessibility
setting: the only way an Android app can read what another app shows.
3
One panel lights up
A block each for pickup, drop-off, earnings per mile and earnings per hour, each graded against
your own target, with a verdict pill: Exceptional, Good, Fair or Poor. Then you decide.
What it never does
It never taps, types, accepts or declines anything.
It never signs in to your driver app.
It never decides for you. Every tap is yours.
What FareTake does for you
Three ideas, drawn plainly.
Your target decides
You set the least you would accept. Each offer is held up against your target.
Plan the week
A weekly goal that fills as you drive, and the busy days marked from the events calendar.
Busy days ahead
An events calendar marks each day Very high, High, Medium or Low demand from local events.
Built by a working driver
FareTake is built by a private hire driver, for the job he does. Every offer gives you a few
seconds and leaves the sum to you: what the job pays for every mile you actually drive and every
hour it actually takes. FareTake does that sum.
Straight answers
Does it tap or accept jobs for me?
No. It reads and it draws. There is no code in it that can accept or decline a job, and every tap in your driver app is yours.
Is the verdict my final pay?
No. The panel uses the fare on the offer. Tips, waiting time and later adjustments can make the final payment differ.
What leaves my phone?
A crash report if the app stops unexpectedly, and anything you send us yourself. Your earnings, trips and locations are worked out and kept on your phone. The privacy policy has the whole list.
Which phones does it work on?
Android phones. FareTake runs alongside the driver app you already use and reads its offer cards.
How do I get it?
FareTake is an Android app and will be on Google Play at launch. Sign up at the top of this page to hear when it launches, or to test it before then.
